This year, the Festival is excited to offer giving alternatives through eScrip. eScrip is a free program that gives a certain percentage of your total purchase dollars to a charity of your choice. There are four ways that you can participate:
The Schnucks eScrip card: Once enrolled, just show your card to the cashier at the checkout. Your total dollar amount is transferred into points and added to your card (you earn 1 point for every dollar you spend up to $1,000 a month). Depending on how much you spend that month, eScript will donate between 1-3% of your monthly total to the Festival.
Go to escrip.com and click on the eScrip Online Mall: There are 100s of popular stores to choose from: Nordstrom, Apple Store, Circuit City, Office Max, Barnes & Noble, ebay and more! When you make a purchase from any of these stores through the escrip.com site, eScrip will donate between 2 – 16% of your purchase total to the Festival. At escrip.com you also have the option to download AutoEARN. This download is a secure cookie that will identify a store within the eScrip program without having to go through the escrip website.
Using your Macy’s Credit Card can earn the Festival 3% on every purchase: If you go to escrip.com, you can set up your own account with password. Once you are registered, you can register you Macy’s Credit Card and anytime you use it, eScrip will donate 3% of that purchase to the Festival.
Using your everyday credit or credit/debit card can also earn $$ for the Festival: Any time you use your registered credit card at designated merchants like: American Airlines, Eddie Bauer and others, eScript matches up to 20% of your purchases and donates it to the Festival. There are no special coupons or cards needed – just having your credit card registered with eScrip is all it takes.
Please remember, if you register yourself on the escrip.com website, you must designate that you want Shakespeare Festival St. Louis to be your first choice charity. Our eScrip Group ID is 500005075, or you can do it by a simple organizational name look-up.
